Freshly arrived this week is Middle of Nowhere, the latest album by Kacey Musgraves. I’ve been a fan since her full pop crossover on Golden Hour, and with this release she leans back into a more traditional country sound, complete with plenty of pedal steel. That said, a track like “Loneliest Girl” still carries a strong pop sensibility. This is one we’ll be playing a lot at home in the coming weeks.
